Survey on the situation of women human rights defenders by the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Defenders Michel Forst - Deadline 28 September 2018

You are invited by the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders, Mr. Michel Forst, to share information on women human rights defenders.

Women human rights defenders are women who “promote and… strive for the protection and realisation of human rights and fundamental freedoms at the national and international levels” through peaceful means (Article 1, 5, 12 and 13 Declaration on the Right and Responsibility of Individuals, Groups and Organs of Society to Promote and Protect Universally Recognized Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms).
