GANHRI Finance
GANHRI mainly relies on the support of its members which contribute with an
annual subscription fees fixed by its Bureau every year.
GANHRI also receives financial support from the European Union through the European
Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR-DEVCO) through one of its
members, the Danish Institute for Human Rights (DIHR), and from the United
Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in support of NHRIs. The Office of the
High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), which serves as Secretariat of
GANHRI contribute in kind or through ad-hoc financial support to the activities
of GANHRI.
Financial reports are produced by an external accounting company and audited
by an independent Trustee Company, which operates according to Swiss Standard
on the Limited Statutory Examination. According to the GANHRI Statute,
Financial Reports are approved annually by the GANHRI General Assembly of
members.
